The Answer's Paul Mahon Tackles 'Everyday Demons'

"We went into the first shows with some trepidation with how the audience would respond," says The Answer's founding guitarist Paul Mahon of the band's support slot on the massive AC/DC 'Black Ice' world tour. "There was such a reaction to see AC/DC again and it's gone very well. The fans are going to see them and we're just trying to win them over. We felt we were in for a rough ride but once we got a few shows under our belt we got comfortable and I think we're making some new fans," he adds proudly.

The Answer will hit the states again soon for two special club gigs in late April and early May to celebrate the release of their new album 'Everyday Demons.' The band will bookend each side of America, playing the historic Troubadour in Los Angeles on April 29 and Don Hill's in New York on May 2.

Touring might be in Mahon's blood. "The buses are good enough now, you can find your own space if you need it. They are quite comfortable and I love going to new places and taking it all in. When we started, I didn't think I'd like it at all. It's a nomadic way of life – you're always on the move. I can see myself doing this for a long time. It isn't getting old yet."
