Revel in the 'Majesty' of the Black Dahlia Murder DVD

Michigan metal monoliths the Black Dahlia Murder are set to release their first-ever DVD, 'Majesty,' on May 12 through longtime label Metal Blade. The two-disc digipak will offer a three-hour sneak peak into the self-styled "depths of human stupidity" of these death-thrash anti-heroes! The DVD will mix live performances with the complete audio and video history of the band, including all the band's music videos, production outtakes, interviews and other assorted touring mischief that occurred while on the road. In essence, it'll be like a typical BDM show: an event to remember!
The BDM are known for their irreverent brand of humor – we remember when guitarist Brian Eschbach stripped down to his birthday suit in front of the second stage crowd on at the stiflingly hot Pittsburgh stop of Ozzfest 2005 - and 'Majesty' will certainly elicit chuckles as it exposes the daily grind of life in the grimy, smelly van of a touring metal band. It's a BDM bird's eye view.
Vocalist Trevor Strnad told Noisecreep, "Our first DVD is finally on the verge of release and we in Camp BDM are f*cking pumped. We're excited to give the fans a look into what the Black Dahlia lifestyle is all about." As for the footage, Strnad says, "This ungodly thing spans all of the 'Nocturnal' touring cycle and is jam-packed with backstage tomfoolery and absolutely raging live footage. We apologize in advance for any brain cells lost during viewing, so bang your heads!" After you've ingested your fair share of BDM antics via 'Majesty,' be sure to check out the band on this summer's Mayhem Fest.
