From the Depths: Nattefrost, Goatwhore, Adorned Brood
FRESH MEAT: The European release of 'Engangsgrill,' the split album from Norwegian Black Metal legends Nattefrost (Carpathian Forest) and Fenriz (Darkthrone) is now available from Indie Recordings, in both CD and LP formats. The 8-track album comprises three tracks of doom from Fenriz' Red Planet, and five tracks of previously unreleased, or rare and difficult to find material, from Nattefrost's own collection. Two tracks from the album, "My Ship Sailed Without Me" by Fenriz' Red Planet and "Nekronaut II, Nekro Spirituals" from Nattefrost are currently streaming on the 'Engangsgrill site, whilst the track "John Carter, Man On Mars" from Fenriz' Red Planet can only be heard over at Indie Recordings. In addition, Carpathian Forest frontman Nattefrost has entered the studio to begin production on his third full-length solo album. The album (working title 'Opfergang') will feature guest appearances from musicians such as Dirge Rep (Orcustus, Secht) and Vrangsinn (Carpathian Forest, Secht, A Waste of Talent). The latter is also producing the album at his own studio in the south west of Norway.
NEW MUSIC: German pagan black metallers Adorned Brood have posted a brand-new song. The track, Sons of the Damned" will be available on their upcoming new album, 'Noor.'
DARK DAYS AHEAD: Blackened NOLA hellraisers Goatwhore have revealed the track listing for their upcoming album, entitled 'Carving Out the Eyes of God.' The album contains ten songs: 'Apocalyptic Havoc' (streaming on their site), 'The All-Destroying', 'Carving Out The Eyes Of God', 'Shadow Of A Rising Knife', 'Provoking The Ritual Of Death', 'In Legions, I Am Wars Of Wrath', 'Reckoning Of The Soul Made Godless', 'This Passing into The Power Of Demons', 'Razor Flesh Devoured', To Mourn And Forever Wander Through Forgotten Doorways'. 'Carving Out the Eyes of God' will be available in Europe on June 19 / June 22 and in North America on June 23.
