Crue Fest 2: Motley, Godsmack and More

We've added a second stage," says Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee of Crüe Fest 2. "We're kinda building that. One of the coolest things about us Motley boys is that we want to expose some local talent. I think on the B stage, we'd like to let some local guys get up there."
This year, Mötley Crüe will take Godsmack, Theory of a Deadman, Drowning Pool and Charm City Devils with them on the road.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of 'Dr. Feelgood,' Mötley will play the entire album from start to finish. This means fans will hear songs never before performed live. "We've been rehearsing 'Feelgood.' It sounds rad," admits Lee. Guitarist Mick Mars is also looking forward to the change of pace while on stage. "'Sticky Sweet,' we've never played live. 'Slice of Your Pie,' we've never played live. 'Time for Change,' we played one concert. When Obama was running (for president), they should have played that song. The song was written for the future."
After Mötley Crüe performs 'Dr. Feelgood' in its entirety, the band will return to the stage to play some of their other hits. Crüe Fest 2 starts mid-July and runs through early September. Price of admission varies by venue, check Ticketmaster.
