Aerosmith's Steven Tyler Falls During Performance, Treated for Injuries
All those "Going Down/Love In An Elevator" jokes aside, 61-year-old Aerosmith front man Steven Tyler is probably pretty sore today. Aerosmith performed at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, S.D. last night.A sound issue during the song "Love In An Elevator" sent Tyler bouncing and dancing around the stage as a way to entertain waiting fans. Tyler took a step back on the catwalk, went too far, and fell into the crowd. Security rushed to his side, but Tyler was able to get up on his own. He was taken backstage and eventually airlifted to a nearby hospital. After Tyler's fall, the show was cut short.
Officials say Tyler suffered neck, head and shoulder injuries. No word on Tyler's condition at this time.
