Glitter Punks Prima Donna Join Forces With Green Day

On your mark. Get Set. Go! Superstar street punks Green Day have just tapped relative newcomers Prima Donna as touring partners for their upcoming jaunt to UK and the rest of Europe. More '70s glam than modern day punk, Prima Donna released their debut 'After Hours' in 2008. They've been compared to the New York Dolls and Mott the Hoople. Perhaps most important, the guys in Green Day are huge fans of Prima Donna.
Green Day released the rock opera '21st Century Breakdown' in May. Then they toured North America over the summer, garnering rave reviews from both fans and critics. The European leg begins later this month. The bands will hit venues in Spain, France, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Netherlands, Belgium, Scotland, Ireland, Austria and Switzerland.
