Grind Godfathers Repulsion to Play Free San Francisco Show

Resurrected grindcore legends Repulsion will be playing a free show in San Francisco this weekend, headlining the DT Fest on Sept. 19 at the DNA Lounge. This all-ages event will also include Reciprocal, Dismal Lapse, Flesh Consumed and Depths of Chaos in celebration of SF's local metal crew Death Tribe and all things grind.
When asked about the upcoming one-off appearance, guitarist Matt Olivo told Noisecreep, "Repulsion is looking forward to grinding up in the Bay area! We have two members from up here so come on out and show your support for us and the kick-ass lineup of local bands.
"We hope to see Repulsion fans as well as grind fans who want to come out and get a history lesson." And as Olivo succinctly puts it, "The show is free, so get your ass there!!!"
Repulsion recently performed their first-ever New York City show this past July as part of the Blackened Music Series. The show also celebrated the inclusion of the band's 'Horrified' album in Decibel magazine's new book, 'Precious Metal: Decibel Presents the Stories Behind 25 Extreme Metal Masterpieces.'
