Dethklok to 'Awaken' New York City With Free Listening Party
As metal fans and Adult Swim fanatics alike anxiously await the release of 'Dethklok: The Dethalbum II,' the second sountrack offering from famed comedic cartoon 'Metalocalypse' featuring the show's band, Dethklok -- the world's "heaviest and most popular metal band" -- New York City fans need not wait any longer.On Sept. 23, worshippers of the band -- which includes Nathan Explosion, Swisgaar Swigelf, William Murderface, Toki Wartooth and Pickles the Drummer -- will have a chance to hear the fictitious quintet's new album in its entirety, throw back some drinks and win Dethklok-related prizes. Presented by Metal Insider, hopeful fans need only RSVP to attend the extravaganza at Fontana's.
'Dethklok: The Dethalbum II' will be unleashed to the rest of the world on Sept. 29 through Williams Street Records.
