Drummer David Witte Is a Chocoholic
Being the drummer for both Municipal Waste and Burnt by the Sun, David Witte has learned how to equally enjoy the bounties of life outside of music. He talked, at length, with Decibel magazine about his love for chocolate and his appreciation to have the lifestyle he does.Witte references Nora vocalist Chris Ross, who wrote the song 'Nobody Takes Pictures of the Drummer,' and how he uses such accuracy to his advantage. "I usually have a whole spread laid out behind the drum kit," he tells Decibel. "Bottles of water, a beer, sometimes coffee and if I have it on me, chocolate. That way I get to 'freshen up' between songs."
Burnt By The Sun plays New York City's Cake Shop on Oct. 2 before heading off on a month-long tour through Europe.
