Megadeth's Shawn Drover Was 'at Ease' Recording 'Endgame'
The band recorded 2007's 'United Abominations' in a 16th century English mansion, but their latest LP was completely produced in their own studio, Vic's Garage. Located in Los Angeles, Calif., lead vocalist/guitarist Dave Mustaine had a heavy hand in its design.
"He converted a warehouse/office into an amazing recording facility," Drover told Brave Words. "It has a big living room with a big-screen TV, all the comforts of home. That made me more at ease recording this record than I was recording 'United Abominations.'"
Drover also talks about his participation in writing 'Head Crusher,' the album's first single, and working with producer/engineer Andy Sneap (Arch Enemy, Exodus) for the making of 'Endgame.' As for live events, Megadeth will return to North America around the second week of November, and so far have a busy month of gigs lined up around the states.
