Tesla Announce Plans for New Live Album
One thing you can say about Tesla -- they've been able to sustain a massive fan base for well more than two decades. The band will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a new live album of deep cuts for the die-hard fans. The band also plans to release an album of new material in the near future.Tesla is putting their own brand on their upcoming live release. One disc will feature clips recorded live in Europe. Another album will feature songs recorded live during North American shows. The North American live album will feature more obscure tracks such as "Last Action Hero" and also cuts from the band's most recent disc 'Forever More.'
In a recent interview, Tesla guitarist Frank Hannon admitted that the band records every single show. Because of this, the band has a massive database from which to select songs for the new live album and a potential DVD.
The guys in Tesla will wrap their current tour with ShipRocked later this month. Shiprocked sails Nov. 15 and will also feature Queensryche, Ratt and Skid Row.
