Limp Bizkit Reveal New Album Title
Earlier this year, it was announced that all five original members of Limp Bizkit would be reuniting for a new record release and a world tour. For many, their 2001 album 'Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water' was really their last full-length, since there was so much controversy over the on-going feud between singer Fred Durst and guitarist Wes Borland; not to mention the multitude of feuds between Durst and other artists, which included Slipknot, Creed and Eminem. In early 2010, Limp Bizkit are planning to release 'Gold Cobra,' which will be the band's first full-length in six years. Durst also said that they would be revealing the title's meaning in due time, but noted that "cobras are quite venomous."
Since the initial announcement in February, Limp Bizkit's Web site has been updated often with news of the coming spectacle, and they've played several times in Europe and Asia, beginning with a performance in late May in Latvia.
The new album will be released via Interscope/Polydor, and the band is planning to make the North American region their grand finale. New merchandise has also started to pop up on their Web site.
