Winds of Plague Tour Is Fun and Relaxed With New Keyboardist
"Our new keyboardist Alana [Potocnik] is amazing," Johnny told Noisecreep. "This has been the most relaxed, fun tour in years. The vibe with the band and crew is good. We've been out a month and the tour ends this Saturday, but it feels like it's been only two days!"
As for the split with Randall, there is apparently no love lost. "I've been able to rid her of my life. [Her leaving] was expected, but we prolonged it for the band. I knew it was a matter of time and one day it would boil up. We tried to cope and deal, and I knew it would happen. I thought her leaving would affect the band, the live draw and the image. But this tour has been the best for us yet. The fans are loyal to the music and not to what was the face of the band. We're always moving forward, onwards and upwards."
The band will head right back out on the road in January in support of 'The Great Stone War,' which came out last summer, alongside labelmates Despised Icon.
