Rockstar Mayhem Festival Announces Initial 2010 Tour Lineup

Korn to Headline 2010 Rockstar Energy Drink FestivalPart of a great summer music festival is the anticipation that builds around its tour lineup. While most of us are making it through the winter, the third annual Rockstar Mayhem Festival is preparing to unveil its entire cast on Jan. 20, just in time to warm us up. A handful of confirmed acts have been announced, which include Korn, Rob Zombie, Lamb of God and Five Finger Death Punch. (Ed. note - we had previously reported that Unearth, As I Lay Dying, Whitechapel and Killswitch Engage were performing, but these acts were unconfirmed.)

UPDATE
: Rockstar Mayhem Fest 2010 Bill to Feature Korn, Rob Zombie, Atreyu

This summer marks the third year for the successful festival, which was founded by the creators of Taste of Chaos and Vans Warped Tour. Last year, it traveled around the U.S. for just under 30 dates, spanning across July and August. The rumor mill for 2010 has been churning since November, with talks of Rob Zombie and Hatebreed showing up on the list of performers, in addition to Korn.

Towards the end of last year's run, Noisecreep posted a collection of photo from the event, offering a visual explanation of how the fans and artists equally reveled in its glory. There's no doubt that the upcoming lineup will impress and inspire metal fans around the country to start readying for warmer weather and planning what will surly be their first of many epic summer events.

LOL FAIL. This isn't the line up at all. The REAL Line up does not include: As I Lay Dying, Unearth, White Chapel, OR Killswitch.

Mayhem will never top there 2009 bill. Whitechapel are on Vans Warped Tour. I don't think Unearth or As I Lay Dying will be on this years Mayhem Festival.

The only way I'm going is if there is a good f*cking Death Metal Band. Like: Deicide, Suffocation, Dying Fetus, Obituary, Skinless.

Love As I Lay Dying , Lamb of God , WhiteChapel And the rest of the line up. Not a fan of Hate Breed at all though but to each their own.
Can't wait...

ummm, i dont see any emo... and im pretty sure korn would do just find on the bill considering slipknot and manson were the past two main attractions and this tour is only 2 years old. This article is also a little flaky considering white chapel is already booked for warped.

Meh, not the biggest fan of Mayhem. Here in Saint Louis, we have the music festival that pwns all music festivals: PointFest!!! :D Best thing to ever happen to the music world. :3 But last year, Mayhem kind of sucked. Eh, well, Manson did anyway. He only played half as long as Slayer, the band that went on before him, and HE was headlining. -____- Killswitch was good, too. I think the whole Manson thing kind of turned me away from Mayhem... and the crowds weren't as wild as I'd have thought them to be. I come for the music, but stay for the intensity and the craziness of the crowds. ^_^
