Kingdom of Sorrow Releasing Sophomore Album
Considering that their main projects have such demanding schedules, it's difficult to get through the production process of making a record. Fortunately though, Kingdom of Sorrow are aiming to release a sophomore full-length album sometime this spring. Their 2008 debut came out on Relapse, and both Jasta and Windstein felt going that route for their second LP was the best choice. "It was a no brainer to re-sign with Relapse for another Kingdom Of Sorrow album," said Jamey Jasta in a recent press release. "They are a great company who really gets it and we're extremely excited to have them 110% behind us."
The first album received great reviews from outlets such as Deicbel, Outburn and Kerrang! and was given 4.5 stars by Revolver. "Our new material kicks ass, we can't wait to unleash it!," added Windstein. "It's a real beast!" It goes without saying that this album could be one of the most impressive of the year, since the partnership between Jasta and Windstein is a special one, and both are kept busy with their primary bands, which continue to be successful.
