Trustkill's Killer Tours Site Seeks to be Ultimate Online Tour Destination
Metal and hardcore fans know Trustkill Records as one of the defining independent labels of the previous decade, having introduced the scene to bands like Poison the Well, Eighteen Visions, Bleeding Through, Throwdown and Bullet for My Valentine, to name a select few.But label owner Josh Grabelle is also incredibly proud of Killer Tours, the label's touring Web site, which is a one-stop shop for all things touring -- and not just Trustkill band tours, either. "We've been developing the site for years and built it from the ground up," Grabelle told Noisecreep.
"We are sponsoring tours and doing ticket giveaways, and it's really cool," Grabell continued. "It's the go-to place for all hardcore, metal and punk shows. There is information on shows, and you can buy tickets. There are flyers, too. It's a much different experience than going to a MySpace page or Pollstar, or wherever you may go to find out about tours." The site is a cornucopia of information about tours and is easy to navigate in one fell swoop.
Grabelle launched the site for a simple, utilitarian purpose: necessity! "I used to wish there was one place to go to find cool shows, but I didn't know how to make it come to life. Luckily I have a staff who knows how to do this s--- and made it come to life," he said.
