Fourth Season of 'That Metal Show' Premieres Febr. 6 With New Segments

The season premiere of VH1 Classic's 'That Metal Show' will air Feb. 6 at 11 PM ET. The show, hosted by syndicated radio personality Eddie Trunk and comedians Don Jamieson and Jim Florentine, isn't your average metal talk show -- nor is it 'The View' hosted by metalheads, thanks to the thoroughly knowledgeable gabbers. The program will feature a few new segments this season, in addition to Trunk, Jamieson, Florentine yakking opinionatedly about the latest rock news, arguing about their favorite bands and chatting with guests.
"For the first time, we will let the studio audience ask some questions to our guests," Trunk told Noisecreep. "We also have a new feature called 'The Rant,' where one of us takes to the podium to blow off some steam about things in the metal world that need to be set straight. There are some great field segments as well, where viewers will see Don and Jim open for Twisted Sister and babysit my kids. And a guitar player from a major band will show what a fan he is of 'TMS' by getting it tattooed on his chest! All the old favorites like 'Stump the Trunk' and 'The Throwdown' are also back."
Fans can catch all of season one and season two online at VH1 Classic's official Web site. New episodes will launch online every Monday morning following the show's on-air premiere.
