Faith No More Book Brooklyn, N.Y. Gig
The Mike Patton-led hard rock legends will kick off this summer's season of shows along the Williamsburg waterfront, according to the New York Times. Faith No More perform at North 8th Street and Kent Avenue on the East River in Brooklyn, it was announced by the Open Space Alliance for North Brooklyn on Wednesday.
Faith No More have been playing several live reunion shows since getting back together last year. Most of these shows have happened outside the U.S., with a few planned for the West Coast this spring. So far, the Brooklyn date is the band's sole stop on the East Coast.
In a statement, the band said it hopes "the experience of playing together again will yield results erratic and unpredictable enough to live up to the legacy of Faith No More." Tickets for the gig will go on sale at noon on March 19 at ticketmaster.com and at the Nokia Theater box office in Times Square.
Rumors continue to swirl that the band will embark on a full-scale North American reunion run, with some suggesting Tool as a possible opener.
