Giant Steps Productions Hosting SXSW Showcase

This year, South by Southwest has more metal than ever! On March 20, Giant Steps Productions will host a showcase at Plush in Austin, Texas. Dark Castle, Irepress, Battlefields, Caspian and more will play this event.
Giant Steps are based in Austin, so SXSW is a given. Started as a booking agency, Giant Steps is now also a record label and music distribution company.
Recently touring together, Battlefields, Irepress and Caspian will each play tracks off their most recent albums. Dark Castle has an aggressive SXSW schedule, playing many showcases before heading off on a longer, European tour.
Want to attend SXSW? Badges are required for many parts of the festival and options are outlined on the SXSW official Web site. Many concerts are free, so check ahead of time once you've set a game plan.
