Kansas City Rockfest Lineup Announced

Godsmack will headline Kansas City Rockfest, North America's largest one-day music festival. This year the festival is scheduled for May 15 at the Liberty Memorial in Kansas City.

Other bands slated to perform the fest include 3 Days Grace, Seether, Papa Roach, Drowning Pool, Rev Theory, Halestorm, Five Finger Death Punch, Airbourne, Janus, the Veer Union, Burn Halo, Adelitas Way, Shaman's Harvest and Taddy Porter.

Ticket pre-sale begins Wednesday, March 17 through the Web site of presenting radio station KQRC-FM. General sales begin March 20 through Ticketmaster. Regular tickets start at $35, and hotel packages are available.

Last year, more than 50,000 people attended Rockfest, and it's produced by AEG Live and hosted by KQRC-FM.
