Soilwork Tour Dates With Death Angel, Mutiny Within

With their new album, 'The Panic Broadcast,' scheduled to land in stores June 25, Swedish metallers Soilwork have a lot of promotional work to do. Part of that push will be the band's North American headlining tour, the details for which were announced this week. The trek kicks off July 14 in West Springfield, Va., and runs through August 15 in Hartford, Conn.
Providing direct support on the tour will be San Francisco thrashers Death Angel, Canada's own Augury, Mutiny Within and buccaneer-themed Swashbuckle. The tour will be making stops in Philadelphia, New York, Cleveland, Detroit, Chicago, Seattle, Houston, Seattle, Tucson and Orlando before winding down in Hartford.
"We are stoked to tour with the most vicious thrashers from the West, famous for their gin drinking and intense live shows," says Soilwork vocalist Bjorn 'Speed' Strid. "Death Angel is a classic band that we've wanted to tour with for a long time. A perfect fit for the bill and surely an awesome touring companion. The summer of mosh is upon us. Don't miss out!"
Likewise, Death Angel's Mark Osegueda says he's "excited" about the upcoming tour. "I first heard Soilwork on a Nuclear Blast promo compilation and they stood out from the first listen. The riffs, the drumming, and Björn's vocal attack! Then we were fortunate enough to play with them at With Full Force festival a few years back and they killed it live!"
