Five Finger Death Punch Frontman 'Banged Up' After Car Crash

The good news is Five Finger Death Punch frontman Ivan Moody's doing just fine. The bad news? Moody was involved in a minor car accident on Monday, which left him with some facial lacerations above and along the side of his right eye.
Death Punch took to their Twitter profile soon after the crash and posted a picture of Moody's injuries along with it. "[He] slid on some black ice and crashed [into the] side of the road," they tweeted. "He is OK, just banged up."
The accident comes one week before the band is expected to head to Vancouver for a brief tour of Canada and the United States with headliners Korn. That run wraps April 11 in Tucson, Ariz. Moody's injuries will not affect the tour.
Five Finger Death Punch recently returned from a trip to Iraq, where, last month, they performed a series of shows for U.S. troops. It was the band's first trip to the region.
"There's not enough people in America that are exposed to what really goes on over [in Iraq], how hard the troops are working for us and our side," Moody said about the trip. "We just wanted to [go over there] and give them a piece of life. We know that it becomes monotonous out [there] -- it's a seven-day-a-week job -- and we really wanted to break it up and make them feel human, and I hope that we gave them that."
