Mastodon Give a Monster Peak at New Merch Line -- Video

How many bands can do a video just for their merch line? Think about it. You probably have some fingers uncounted, because there are not many given such honor and excitement. However, Mastodon are certainly in that club. "The people who did it did a great job," guitarist/vocalist Brent Hinds told Noisecreep about the video. "I just love anything pertaining to Godzilla!"
Always a band to give the fans what they want (and thus performing on The Interface last year), huge packaging has always been in the cards for the Atlanta band. This year's Record Store Day, taking place April 17, Mastodon will be re-releasing their first major label outing, 'Blood Mountain,' in deluxe double gatefold vinyl packaging with updated artwork by longtime artist of the band Paul Romano. There will also be a more economical version with only one LP.
