Call to Preserve, 'Life of Defiance' -- New Album
During the sessions, members of For Today dropped in to provide gang vocals for the record. "This recording experience has been quite different than recording 'From Isolation,'" said vocalist John. "Last time around we were in Boston and had two weeks of six hour days. This time we're in a rural town outside of Chapel Hill, and we're doing six/10 hour days. Last time we were a five-piece and brought two of our friends with us. This time we're a four-piece, we didn't bring any friends with us and [drummer] Mike had to leave after he finished tracking. We've spent a lot more time recording and less time goofing around and yelling at girls with umbrellas."
On March 26, Call to Preserve began a European tour in London opening for Agnostic Front. Also on the bill are This Is Hell, Do or Die and Crushing Caspars. Dates run through April 24 in Berlin, Germany. No spring U.S. dates have been scheduled yet.
