The Human Abstract Recruit Former From First to Last Guitarist

The long search is over. Since November, technical progressive metallers the Human Abstract have been searching for a new frontman to replace Nathan Ellis. On April 7, the Human Abstract revealed they've found a new singer in Travis Richter, formerly of From First to Last.
Richter, who parted ways with FFTL late last year, will be stepping in to fill the void behind the microphone. The band released a statement on the matter soon after the news first broke.
"We're excited to welcome Travis to the Human Abstract," the release reads. "We couldn't be more pumped on the current state of the band and can't wait to give our fans the best album our hard work has to offer."
Back in November, the Human Abstract revealed they were no longer "working with Nathan Ells. We want to wish Nathan the very best in his future endeavors. With that being said, we are now looking for our new lead singer." Not even an hour later, Ells responded from his own MySpace page, saying that "the decision made by my band was not mutual, and I was fired."
Before Richter entered the fold, former guitarist A.J. Minette, the band's original guitarist and the producer of their forthcoming LP, filled in on vocals. They continue to work on material for the follow-up to 2008's 'Midheaven.'
