Kix to Return to Sunset Strip
It's been nearly two decades, but Kix will finally return to Hollywood, Calif.'s Sunset Strip. Kix, fronted by Steve Whiteman, will play the Sunset Strip House of Blues in Los Angeles on Aug. 27.Kix formed in 1978 in Hagerstown, Md. When the biggest bands of the '80s all relocated to the Sunset Strip in search of fame, Kix stayed true to their East Coast roots and never permanently left the Baltimore area.
Kix disbanded in 1995 and reformed in 2004. In the past two years, the band began branching away from the East Coast, playing select festivals. In addition to this rare Sunset Strip appearance, Kix will also play the Stockholm Rock Out, marking the band's first Scandinavian appearance ever.
Tickets for the Los Angeles House of Blues show are available via Ticketmaster.
