Fuel Ex-Guitarist Produces EP for Sandlot Heroes
He's currently writing music for film and television and producing a batch of songs for pop rock outfit Sandlot Heroes at Soundmine Studios in Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains. The band independently released their debut album, 'Pretend That We're Famous,' last fall and received local and national acclaim with the songs 'So' and 'Out of My Hands.' In addition to producing new songs for Sandlot Heroes, Bell is working with the band on an electric version of the previously released 'Believer.' Sandlot Heroes hope to release a new EP in late Spring.
The current lineup of Fuel, which features original vocalist Brett Scallions playing with all new members -- guitarist Yogi, bassist Brad Stewart and drummer Ken Schalk -- will launch a tour April 30 in Birmingham, Ala. Dates run through Sept. 18 in Columbus, Md. Fuel's last full album, 'Angels & Devils,' was released in 2007.
