Breach the Void, 'The Monochromatic Era' -- New Album
With the name issue out of the way, the band is ready to rock and will release its debut album, 'The Monochromatic Era,' on Coroner Records on Oct. 11.
The album will feature the debut of guitarist Frederic De Cecco who replaced Royd Salvi in February to "focus on his day job." Snxionna added, "His priority and motivation changed throughout the months and unbalanced the ambition of this very serious project." The current lineup also features vocalist Marko Romero and bassist Fabian Ferraglia.
'The Monochromatic Era' was produced by the band and mastered at Antfarm Studios by Tue Madsen (Dark Tranquillity, Mnemic, the Haunted). The band describes the record as "a glacial modern metal platter featuring a strong impact and dreaming melodies."
Breach the Void recently shot their first official video for the song 'Propagate.' The clip was directed by Jakob Arevarn (Adept, Carnal Forge, Dead by April) and will be serviced to video outlets shortly.
