Decapitated Summer Slaughter Tour Dates With the Faceless

Decapitated As we previously reported, Decapitated and the Faceless will be hitting the road for this year's Summer Slaughter Tour, which launches June 17 in San Diego and runs through Aug. 23. All Shall Perish, the Red Chord, Veil of Maya, Cephalic Carnage, Decrepit Birth, Carnifex, Animals as Leaders and Vital Remains are also on the bill.

The tour will mark Decapitated's first North American dates since drummer Witold 'Vitek' Kiełtyka was critically injured on Oct. 29, 2007, in Gomel near the border of Russia and Belarus when their tour bus was hit by a truck carrying wood. He died in a Russian hospital on November. Vocalist Adrian 'Covan' Kowanek was also injured in the accident.

"After a couple years of silence, Decapitated will return to the U.S. and Canada to kick your asses again," said Waclaw 'Vog' Kiełtyka, the only original member of the band. "Be ready for one of the loudest tours of the year."

The new Decapitated lineup features 'Vog' Kiełtyka, vocalist Rafał Piotrowski, bassist Filip 'Heinrich' Hałucha and drummer Kerim 'Krimh' Lechner.
