Attack Attack! Pose For Peta2 Poster
Breakdowns don't hurt animals; circuses do. That's the message on a Peta2 poster from Attack Attack! It's a fitting sentiment, since Attack Attack!, who manufacture electro pop metalcore, rife with more breakdowns than an AAA call center. But kudos to the Ohio band for shining a spotlight on the cruelty that circus animals endure for entertainment purposes."When we were approached about being involved in this campaign against circuses, we were very excited to help spread the word about how cruel the circuses really are," Andrew Wetzel told Noisecreep. "I hate even hearing about animals being hurt. So why would anyone want to go to the circus?"
The band is part of a campaign that reminds us that elephants never forget when they are mistreated -- and as a result, they have pledged to never attend the circus again and encourage you to to do the same, since Peta2 educates the public about how circus elephants are beaten with bullhooks, electrocuted and chained for hours.
Attack Attack!'s new self-titled album on Rise came out last week and they will spend their summer sweating and singing their faces off on Warped Tour.
