New Hard Rock and Metal Releases for July 2010
The only thing hotter than the July sun is the scorching hot metal that's filling retail shelves and digital platforms. July 13 is front loaded with some of the biggest metal releases of the summer season -- namely Korn's 'Korn III – Remember Who You Are,' which was produced by Ross Robinson, who helmed the controls for their first two, genre-defining efforts. Hellyeah's second effort, 'Stampede,' is also set to grab the metal bull by the horns and turn every night into a Friday night with its good time, whiskey-marinated anthems. Soilwork offer up 'The Panic Broadcast,' with guitarist Peter Wichers back in the band, while In This Moment prove third time could be the charm with 'A Star Crossed Wasteland.' Norma Jean deliver repeated steel toes to the nether regions with 'Meridional,' possibly their most vicious platter yet.
