Stone Sour, 'Say You'll Haunt Me' -- New Song
Paul Harries
"'I was never good enough to find/I was never bad enough to mind/In the middle I will do my best/Take me in your arms and leave the rest," sings Taylor. 'Say You'll Haunt Me' is an obvious song about hope beyond struggle. The vocalist explains this song about his wife as one he had conflicts about during songwriting.
"It was one of those songs that I didn't really feel until it was finished," he said. "I enjoyed the lyrics but I wasn't sure about the music. I'd come in and I'd sang it, and I put my heart into it because the lyrics are about my wife and how I feel about my wife, and then I left. And I came back and [the band] had just made it incredible. Now I can't get it out of my head."
'Audio Secrecy' is the band's follow-up to 2006's 'Come What(ever) May' and is due out on Sept. 7 via Roadrunner Records.
