"[What] most of them have in common [is] that not everything is 100 percent clear in the image," Hansson told Noisecreep. "It will take you a few minutes to fully realize what is in the cover, and then you will see what it is. We wanted to create that effect in the image."
Hansson used a group of different, distinct images that might not be apparent on first glance. "I began with fleshing out the big forms with the pencil," Hansson explained. "Then I just tried to find as many horrific images as possible, and I used them to layer on top of each other and try to create the forms out of those images. So if you look at the image closely, you might see some stuff that is not really clear from the beginning."
Crucifyre is comprised of other established death metal bands, like Crematory, Witchpriest and Corpsef---er.
