The HardDrive program debuted in July 1996 and has amassed 125 stations in the past decade and a half; it's now America's longest-running show that salutes new rock and metal. It makes complete sense that the HardDrive would brand itself with a tour that includes heavyweights like Sevendust, who received some of their first national airplay on the show.
Last year's tour roster included All That Remains, Lacuna Coil, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, From Sword to Sunrise and Taking Dawn, and it was such as success that a second year was warranted. Local affiliates of HardDrive programming will support the tour with promotional activity surrounding the concert dates by giving away tickets, artist meet and greet passes and VIP packages, while HardDrive host Lou Brutus will be on-hand for some of the concerts. You can hang with Lou and watch Sevendust? Right on.
If you are really interested in checking out the Sevendust tour dates in a city other than your own, like, say, Atlantic City, N.J. or Orlando, Fla., then you are in luck. There will be two national fly-away contests to be aired on HardDrive and HardDrive XL, with winners able to attend one of the aforementioned shows.
Be sure and revisit Noisecreep's scintillating ''Creep Show' interview with Sevendust.
