Dave Pybus Weighs in on Eagles/Redskins Rivalry

While 'Darkly, Darkly, Venus Aversa' will undoubtedly chill with its blackened, symphonic flair Cradle of Filth bassist Dave Pybus -- who is a big fan of American football, despite being a Brit -- weighed in on the upcoming game that NFC East fans are anticipating.
"For the last 20 years, changes in Washington have been common place. And 2010 sees a new head coach and quarterback that bring experience that should be considered an upgrade over the last few seasons," Pybus told Noisecreep. "But -- and there's always a but -- will this translate into wins? A new 3-4 defensive scheme has the highest paid player in the league refusing to practice while the team is constantly two to three injuries away from another disastrous season.
"Imagine McNabb hurt and the defense being run all over. It's not something that's impossible, or improbable. The saving grace this time might be the coach. In the past we were simply out-coached. I'm excited to see how Mike Shanahan rises to the challenge. Hail to the Redskins!"
Eagles fans are bound to disagree.
