A Perfect Circle End Hiatus, Announce Fall Tour
With the 'self-imposed hiatus' over, the group has announced a five-date West Coast trek that focuses on playing full albums straight through at each show. Though the actual dates are still unannounced, shows in Phoenix (Marquee Theatre), Seattle (Showbox at The Market), Los Angeles (Avalon) and San Francisco (The Fillmore) will each be three-night events, each night showcasing one of the band's three albums in its entirety. However, Las Vegas (The Pearl) will be two shows only: one night devoted to 'Mer de Noms' and the other to 'Thirteenth Step.'
The lineup for these dates sees the introduction of new member Matt McJunkins taking on the bass duty that was previously handled by Jeordie White (Nine Inch Nails) and Paz Lenchantin (Queens of the Stone Age, Zwan). Guitarist Troy Dean Van Leeuwen is not returning, but guitarist James Iha (Smashing Pumkins) and drummer Josh Freeze (Nine Inch Nails) will be.
Before the tour begins, A Perfect Circle will perform on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' Oct. 27.
