Tesla's J Street Recorders studio in Sacramento, Calif. burned down last Thursday. The building was reportedly owned and operated by bassist Brian Wheat, and it was torched in the early morning hours. Despite the raging blaze, most of the band's memorabilia and instruments were salvaged.

No lives were lost and no pets were harmed in the inferno, and the equipment sustained water damage.
