Every Time I Die's Andy Williams, Keith Buckley Working on Other Projects

"Me and two of my friends bought a house, and it's lot of work. But it's not a fixer upper, but I want to make it home. So that's what I am going to do when the tour ends," Williams told Noisecreep about his post-tour plans. "Then I have to write songs for this band at some point in time, a band that I've been trying to do with my friend Hunter from Richmond, Va. It's called the Blade. We have riffs written, like Blood for Blood. It's downtrodden miserable music." BFB were a blue-collar hardcore band from Boston, so that's the sentiment that Williams is going for.
What's even more miserable is the fact that Williams has to spend his upcoming birthday on a plane. "We have to go to Alaska on Dec. 9 ... then we fly home on [Dec. 12], which is my birthday," Williams groaned. "We leave at 6 AM, get home in buffalo at 11 PM, and I'll be in transit my entire birthday."
While Williams 33rd birthday will be stuck on a plane, Buckley also remains busy, as he is prepping the debut release of the Damn Things, his major label supergroup project that also features Scott Ian and Rob Caggiano of Anthrax, along with Joe Trohman and Andy Hurley of Fall Out Boy fame. The Things just filmed a video and are gearing up for the release of 'Ironiclast.'
There's no issues regarding Buckley juggling both bands, either. Williams said, "He's on a major label, so our little band is living vicariously through him. The album comes out on Dec. 14, and when we see him doing stuff to promote it, it's like, 'Wow! Oh my God, you're doing that?' But it's like going to Christmas [with] your girlfriend for the first time. You go do that and enjoy it and then you can come and spend the rest of Christmas with us, and you can fart in front of us."
Williams said he will also working on some new ETID music in the winter, as well.
