A Day to Remember: Our New Album Is 'Meaner' -- 'Creep Show
Geno DePinto, AOL
At 8:42 into this ''Creep Show' episode, singer Jeremy McKinnon and bassist Josh Woodard talk about how it would have been easier to be either pop punk or hardcore, instead of an amalgam of both. But they chose the road less traveled, and it has made all the difference.
McKinnon said that the new record sounds like the logical next step for ADTR, and that while it's not heavier, "it's a lot meaner and a lot more hardcore-influenced" as opposed to metalcore-influenced.
'What Separates Me From You' is out now from Victory Records.
