Kid Rock -- Bob Ritchie on all legal documents -- kicks off the trek on Jan. 15 with his 40th birthday bash, where he will perform at Detroit's Ford Field.
The stadium, located in Rock's beloved hometown, will be rechristened '40 Field' for the day in honor of the momentous occasion, and Rock will party down with 60,000 of his closest friends, fans and associates for this milestone. Surprise guests are being planned for the soiree as well.
Tickets for the Detroit celebration will go on sale Nov. 26. The rest of the Kid Rock tour dates will wrap around the country through March. Jamey Johnson will provide support.
