Kittie Drummer: Insane Clown Posse Tour Was Full of 'Clown Love'

"Well, to be quite honest, we had the most fun on a tour in years on that tour," drummer Mercedes Lander revealed. "It is indescribable the way those people have adopted a lifestyle. The fact that we can be a part of that for a month was so amazing. There was so much clown love!"
Lander also said she thought the juggalos opened their arms to Kittie. "There were people that were fans of the band to begin with, but the juggalos are from all walks of life," the skinswoman said. "There are secret basement juggalos who love ICP. They are all very different, but they get a bad rap. There were some toothless freaks, but that's at any metal show! We didn't turn into rapping clowns; we did a tour that was a good way to branch off and expand our fan base. We sold a box of CDs a night."
Lander said the ICP camp treated the band well, and that they had to fend off Coolio's sexual advances. Lander joked, "In his gangsta's paradise, women want him. He licked [bassist] Ivy's face and it was crazy. I understand in his world that is OK for him to do. But he'd like hump our legs!"
