The Mötley Crüe frontman was in a bad way with pills and alcohol and was trying to kill himself. According to the television show 'Celebrity Ghost Stories,' Vince said Skylar came to him one night while he was sleeping.
"One night I was lying in bed with her blanket, still wanting to die," Vince recalled. "I was sound asleep -- and there was a little tug on the blanket. I woke up, opened my eyes and the door was open. I was scared. I didn't know what was going on -- but it was her."
Interestingly, Vince said Skylar's ghost continued to visit him night after night for a couple of weeks. From those visits, he got the idea to start the Skylar Neil Foundation which raises money for cancer and AIDS research.
Vince isn't the only rocker to appear on the show. Other musicians include Marilyn Manson, Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider and Sammy Hagar. 'Celebrity Ghost Stories' airs on the Biography channel.
