Hinder Learn When to Say When, Sort Of -- 'Creep Show
Gino DePinto, AOL
"We learned our limits on the first go round [during the tour for 2005's triple platinum 'Extreme Behavior']," vocalist Austin Winkler told Noisecreep. "We had to limit how much we were drinking. Now we have a rule that we can't drink until an hour before the show, because it was just getting a little too crazy. We thought we were awesome, but then we went back and looked at tapes of shows and we were like, 'Oooh, we weren't awesome.'"
"Yeah, but that's recently been transformed into, 'OK, we can drink beer throughout the day. That's still OK,'" added drummer Cody Hanson. "And then an hour before the show, we start taking shots and hitting it harder."
After the show, of course, all bets are off. The band's bus becomes party central and ladies drink for free. The only rule, according to Hanson, is nobody's allowed to play video games.
"We've had a lot of fun, interesting things go on during this tour," he revealed. "We've had people urinating on other people, both by accident and intentionally."
"Our bass player [Mike Rodden] pisses himself at least once a week," added Winkler.
