The 2011 Grammy for Best Hard Rock Performance went to Them Crooked Vultures for 'New Fang.' The supergroup with the drool-worthy pedigree features Dave Grohl, Josh Homme and John Paul Jones in its ranks -- so it's no wonder they won. Congrats to the Vultures and the Grammy win.

It was a grunge-heavy Best Hard Rock Perofmance category this year, as Them Crooked Vultures beat out fellow hard rockers Alice in Chains, Soundgarden and Stone Temple Pilots to take home the Grammy award. Ozzy Osbourne was also nominared in the Best Hard Rock Performance category, but he is a metal god and not a grunger.

Again, many congratulations are in order for Them Crooked Vultures and all the Grammy nominees.
