Axl Rose Responds to Slash's Statements About Reuniting Guns N' Roses

Steve McEnroe, AP

Slash recently said he would consider reuniting with Guns N' Roses if temperamental singer Axl Rose apologized to him. Well, Slash -- and most GNR fans for that matter -- know that an apology from Rose isn't forthcoming anytime soon.

That hasn't stopped Rose from going on Twitter to post a rebuttal to his former bandmate's comments. Rose posted the following Tweet: "Contrary to anyone's claims, there are no concrete plans, nor were there ever for a tour and certainly not to replace anyone in the band, beyond a collection of random ideas thrown out by various individuals without any real foundation."

Translation: Yeah, it's never going to happen.

Yeah...Unfortunately Axl's twitter had absolutely nothing to do with Slash or his comments. And people wonder why Axl hates the press, lol

I know it's ridiculous.
Axl was responding to a youtube video re: album leaks, tour dates, and all sorts of other things and virtually every media outlet out there grabbed his twitter comment and twisted it into a response re: Slash.

Ridiculous.
