Sick Puppies Release 'Polar Opposite' Album Today

Sick Puppies are showing a different side of their musical personalities with 'Polar Opposite,' an eight-song set that will be available exclusively from WalMart and all digital music retailers starting today. The collection includes re-imagined versions of songs from the Aussie band's sophomore effort 'Tri-Polar,' as well as the hit 'All the Same,' which originally appeared on their debut album.

Sick Puppies will also head back out on the road starting today, playing eight shows with the not-so-like-minded rapper Nelly and pop act 3OH!3 as part of the Blizzard Music Tour. The band's full schedule of tour dates is below.

With Polar Opposite, the lyrics that already meant so much and were so hard hitting, became even more so with the focus being on the words. The instrumentation and arrangements are still what make the song, but the slower, quieter presentation of the lyrics makes Polar Opposite a must have.

This is soon to be one of my favorite albums! Sick Puppies "Polar Opposite" has eight songs and is an acoustic set of my favorites!! I can't wait for a tour. They have such a great sound and their music always inspires me. ~MR

Love Sick Puppies rearranged sound on 'Polar Opposite'! The arrangements and lyrics are awesome. Riptide is my favorite right now. It is acoustic rock that charms.- KP
