Travis Barker Gets 'Some' Pushead -- Album Art of the Week

Strictly-metal fans might not find much interest in the new solo album from Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, 'Give the Drummer Some' -- until they see the cover art. Without seeing the signature near the bottom, the telltale skull and mummy wrappings are strong clues that this is indeed a genuine Pushead piece.
Pushead (real name: Brian Schroeder) got his start in the early 80's, creating covers for his hardcore punk outfit Septic Death and other similar bands. His corpus of work grew immensely over the next few decades as he put ink to paper for such bands as Metallica, Soundgarden, Prong, Corrossion of Conformity, and Queensryche. Arguably, his most high-profile work is his gray-and-green depiction of a crumbling, corrupted statue of Lady Justice on Metallica's '...And Justice for All', released in 1988.
Besides album art, Pushead has also been prolific through a number of other outlets such as trading cards, skateboards, shoes, sculptures, and posters. Despite his extensive and recognizable work, Pushead keeps a low profile; he has no official website and interviews with him are a rare commodity.
Travis Barker will embark on a U.S. tour in March and April to support the release of 'Give the Drummer Some'.
