Avenged Sevenfold to Headline Revolver Golden Gods Awards Show
Gino DePinto, AOL
Avenged Sevenfold will deliver the headlining performance at the third annual Revolver Golden Gods Awards, to be held April 20th at Club Nokia in downtown Los Angeles. After AX7 close the star-studded show, they will head out on their Welcome to the Family tour.
The Revolver Golden Gods Awards show will be televised on VH1 Classic on May 28th.
The rest of the performances for what will be heavy metal and hard rock's biggest night include the reunited Alice Cooper Group, performing in LA for the first time in nearly 40 years; Duff McKagan's Loaded; and DevilDriver, who will lead a Black Flag tribute with a bunch of all-stars including Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed fame. Danish metal warriors Volbeat, classic metallers Fozzy (featuring host Chris Jericho), and UK metalcorists Asking Alexandria, who will be joined by Skid Row's Sebastian Bach for a cover of 'Youth Gone Wild,' round out the live performances for that night.
Plenty of surprises and off-the-cuff, unplanned, and unpredictable collaborations are sure to occur as the night unfolds. You'll have to attend the show in person or watch the VH1 Classic broadcast to see for yourself!
