Anew Revolution 'Will Eclipse 250,000 Miles' on Van During Next Tour
eOne Music
Anew Revolution, easily the craftiest and most resourceful band in hard rock, are known for their ability to fix their vehicle in sub-zero temperatures and make friends with the newshounds at CNN in the process. The ambitious group will soon be on the road again, supporting Drowning Pool on their upcoming tour. Static Cycle, Pop Evil, and Trust Company, who share a label with Anew Revolution, round out the teeth-rattling bill.
"On the road again, this time with our Texas friends in Drowning Pool and we are stoked," bassist Frank Salvaggio told Noisecreep. "Two-and-a-half years [ago], our van [had] 80,000 miles on it. With this tour, we will eclipse over 250,000 miles! That's what you get when you tour with the likes of Otep, Sevendust, Nonpoint, 10 Years, Hellyeah, Volbeat, and many headlining shows."
Anew Revolution are touring in support of their last album 'iMerica,' which came out last May via eOne.
Salvaggio continued, "Between being a DIY band and being CNN iReporters, we've managed to overcome blizzards, breakdowns, and blowouts. [We have] capture[d] it all on camera too! In fact, our resident mechanic and drummer Rob is repairing and getting the van road-ready as we speak. No rest for the wicked; that's what we do. 'Whatever it takes to get to the next show' is our motto."
More bands should adopt the Anew Revolution approach.
