Freeman Promotions
This week, Colorado heavy metal stalwarts Jag Panzer released 'The Scourge of the Light,' their ninth studio album. The group formed in the '80s, and most of the album finds the band revisiting the glory of their widely celebrated mid-period work. Whether it's the galloping charge of 'Overlord' or the epic closer 'The Book of Kells,' Jag Panzer show up to the party with some of the most assured songwriting of their career.
Noisecreep proudly presents the world premiere of 'Burn,' the first video from Jag Panzer's 'The Scourge of the Light.'
"Without question – 'Burn' was the first song that came to mind when we decided to do a video," explained Jag Panzer guitarist Mark Briody during a chat with Noisecreep this week. "We were looking for something that was representative of the whole album. 'Burn' has it all -- varied instrumentation, lots of dual guitars, a great solo, and lots of screaming vocals." Briody couldn't be any more on the money with that description.
'The Scourge of the Light' is in stores now via SPV/Steamhammer Records.
